LUNARC Workshop – Supporting Research in Practice: Workflows, Challenges, and Needs

LUNARC workshop

Supporting Research in Practice: Workflows, Challenges, and Needs

LUNARC is Lund University’s centre for advanced computational resources, providing access to high-performance computing, data analysis tools, and support for researchers across disciplines.

Researchers use LUNARC in different ways, for example to work with larger datasets, run computational analyses, or access specialised software and environments.

LUNARC is currently exploring how web-based research environments can better support different research practices across disciplines at Lund University.

As part of this work, we are organising a small, exploratory workshop where researchers are invited to reflect on how they work today in relation to data, analysis, and computational resources, and to discuss how such support could be improved.

During the workshop, you will have the opportunity to:

  • explore web-based access to computational resources and analysis tools directly through the browser (without requiring local installation or login to compute resources)
  • reflect on how such approaches align with your current workflows
  • share your needs, challenges, and perspectives

The purpose is not to present a finished solution, but to better understand how researchers work in practice, and how LUNARC can provide more relevant and accessible support across different disciplines.

Signing up

Please sign up no later than one day before your chosen workshop session.

You can choose one of the following workshop sessions:
